Training process
- Orientation: Introduction to the Gurdwara, its values, and volunteer roles.
- Health and Safety: Training on health and safety procedures and emergency response.
- Langar Training: Training on food preparation, serving, and hygiene practices.
- Event Support: Training on supporting events, ceremonies, and festivals.
- Ongoing Support: Regular feedback, guidance, and support.
Training Methods
- In-person Training: Hands-on training and demonstrations.
- Mentorship: Pairing new volunteers with experienced volunteers.
Objectives
