Objectives

  2. Prevent Foodborne Illness: Prevent foodborne illness through proper food handling, storage, and preparation practices.
  3. Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in our langar.

Responsibilities

  1. Langar Manager: Responsible for overseeing food preparation, storage, and serving practices.
  2. Food Handlers: Responsible for following proper food handling, storage, and preparation practices.
  3. Cleaning Staff: Responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in our langar.

Food Safety Procedures

  1. Food Handling: Handle food safely, separating raw, cooked, and ready-to-eat foods.
  2. Food Storage: Store food at correct temperatures, using refrigerators, freezers, and thermometers.
  3. Food Preparation: Prepare food safely, using clean equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
  4. Food Serving: Serve food safely, using clean serving utensils, plates, and cutlery.
  5. Pest Control: Implement pest control measures to prevent pest infestations.
  6. Waste Management: Implement effective waste management practices to prevent contamination.

Cleaning and Sanitation
